  • Assets Under Management (AUM) Fees: A percentage of assets we manage on your behalf

  • Retainer Fees: For ongoing advisory relationships

All fee arrangements are disclosed in writing before services begin and are agreed upon by both parties.

Refund Considerations

Due to the professional and time-sensitive nature of financial advisory services, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We consider refund requests under the following circumstances:

Services Not Yet Rendered

If you have paid for services that have not yet been provided, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund of the unearned portion of fees. This applies to prepaid services or retainers where work has not commenced.

Service Quality Issues

If you believe the services provided did not meet the standards outlined in our agreement, we encourage you to contact us immediately. We will review the situation and work with you to address any concerns, which may include fee adjustments or additional services at no charge.

Early Termination

Either party may terminate the advisory relationship at any time. Upon termination, you will be responsible for fees for services rendered up to the termination date. Any prepaid fees for services not yet provided will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

Billing Errors

If a billing error occurs, we will promptly correct it and issue a refund or credit for any overcharged amounts.

Non-Refundable Services

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Services that have already been completed and delivered
  • Time spent on consultation, analysis, or research that has been provided
  • Financial plans or reports that have been delivered to you
  • Fees for services where you have received the benefit of our advice and recommendations
  • Third-party fees or charges (such as custodian fees, transaction costs, or regulatory fees)

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please follow these steps:

Reach out to us as soon as possible to discuss your concerns. Early communication often allows us to resolve issues before a formal refund request is necessary.

Send a written refund request via email to dustin@insightcapmgmt.org or by mail to our office address. Include your name, account information, the reason for the request, and any supporting documentation.

We will review your request within 10 business days and respond with our decision. If additional information is needed, we will contact you.

Resolution

If your refund is approved, we will process it within 30 days using the original payment method when possible.

Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our response to your refund request, we encourage you to:

  • Request a meeting or call to discuss the matter further
  • Review the terms of our client agreement for dispute resolution procedures
  • Contact relevant regulatory authorities if you believe there has been a violation of securities laws or regulations

Investment Performance: Please note that refunds are not provided based on investment performance or market conditions. Investment returns are subject to market risk, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Our fees are for advisory services, not for guaranteed investment returns.

Regulatory Compliance: This policy is designed to comply with applicable securities laws and regulations. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable law or our obligations as a registered investment adviser.

Policy Changes: We reserve the right to modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to clients and posted on our website. The policy in effect at the time services are provided will govern those services.
